Diebe: Transfer - Translation on Stage

The Deutsches Theater Berlin organised in cooperation with the European Theatre Convention and with the support of the Goethe Institute the new translation residency entitled “Diebe : Transfer – Translation on Stage”. Dea Lohers play “Diebe” was translated into Romanian, Hebrew and Swedish.
The Teatrul National “Marin Sorescu” Craiova, the Cameri Theatre Tel Aviv as well as the Royal Dramaten Stockholm took part in the project with each being represented by a Translator, a Director and two Actors:
Cosmin Dragoste, translator, Alina Rece, director, Iulia Colan, actress, Catalin Baicus, actor (Teatrul National 'Marin Sorescu' Craiova).
Eynat Baranovsky, translator, Noam Shmuel, director, Nelly Tagar, actress, Yoav Levy, actor (Cameri Theatre Tel Aviv). Maria Tellander, translator; Jenny Andreasson, director, Melinda Kinnaman, actress, Filip Alexandersson, actor (Royal Dramaten Stockholm)
Public presentation during Berliner Theatertreffen at the Deutsches Theater with scenes in Hebrew, Romanian and Swedish.
